John U. Bacon has written for TIME, the New York Times, ESPN The Magazine, and Sports Illustrated, among others, earning national honors for his work. Bacon, who worked closely with Bo to write his latest book, is the author of five books on business and sports. He teaches at the University of Michigan, delivers speeches across the country, and gives weekly commentary on Michigan Public Radio.

Learn the principles that Bo applied on the field and in the locker room to create a football dynasty. Bacon and a select group of his former players and coaches will teach you how to apply Bo’s insights to lead your life. This event will inform, invigorate and inspire-just as Bo himself did every day.

In Bo’s Lasting Lessons: The Legendary Coach Teaches the Timeless Fundamentals of Leadership, by Bo Schembechler and John U. Bacon, Bo explains the specific principles he relied on to achieve his unqualified success — the right way — and how to apply them to your role as a leader.

There are two events on August 28. The first is a breakfast networking event in Ann Arbor at Zingerman’s Roadhouse at 2501 Jackson Ave. from 7:30 – 9:15 AM. The second event is in Troy at Automation Alley, 2675 Bellingham. Networking begins at 3:00, the speaker begins at 3:45 and the event will end at 5:00. The programs are chaired by Robert Pasick of Leaders Connect and Derek Mehraban of Ingenex Group.
